Profile
We are looking for a Corporate M&A lawyer ready to take the lead in developing the French-speaking segment of the team.
You will work fully autonomously on your cases, while collaborating with a strong and well-established Corporate M&A team of around fifteen lawyers specialized in Dutch- and English-language matters.

You hold a Master’s degree in Belgian Law and have at least 10 years of experience in Corporate M&A.
You are a native French speaker (or have perfect command of written and spoken French), with excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) and a passive knowledge of Dutch.
You are able to independently coordinate all standard operations in a share acquisition or sale process (due diligence, SPA, etc.).
You have an established client base in the Corporate M&A sector (“portable business”).
You combine strong analytical skills with an assertive attitude and adopt an efficient and pragmatic approach.
You are a team player with leadership qualities and are keen to further develop our department, particularly in the French-speaking part of the country.
Tasks and responsibilities
Participate in complex matters, take the lead on cases, and drive expansion in the French-speaking part of Belgium (and Brussels).
Play an active role in mentoring and coaching junior team members.
Work closely with colleagues within the department and across other departments.
Maintain direct client contacts and contribute to the overall development of the firm, and of the M&A department in particular.
